Last November, students and instructors from Milan Institute of Cosmetology (Walzem Road) in San Antonio, TX, participated in a spa day at Hopkins Elementary School. Milan students provided manicures and other services to the students and parents of Hopkins. Thanks to Milan, Hopkins’s students and the important women in their lives got to share an evening of relaxation, pampering and feeling beautiful. Assistant Principal Terry Combs thanked Milan volunteers by stating “Your willingness to help the families in our community means the world to them and makes a difference in their lives.” Milan plans to participate in the event again this year.
