Last Sunday evening Mr Fox paid us another visit and helped himself to 10 more hens plus our rooster. Sure is quiet outside these days. Hubby and I erected a 6 ft chain link kennel around the coop and employed a professional wildlife trapper. So far no luck with the traps but I know Mr Fox will come back looking for a free meal. Until then our remaining hens will have to stay in the kennel. They still have more room than commercial organic hens but I really prefer open range for my girls...
