Last Sunday the Burchette family from Southwest Roanoke lost their home to an electrical fire. The family includes four teenage sons (all are Boy Scouts with Troop 203), a 12 year old daughter and 2 remaining dogs (3 were lost in the fire). The home has been a total loss, and the family does not have insurance. The Red Cross has placed them in a hotel, but they can only stay a few days. They are looking for a place to stay, but are also in need of may necessary items. If you, your family, or your church or organization can help, please do so. The Blue Ridge Mountains Boy Scout Council Service Center in Roanoke will be accepting donations of items including gift cards, food & merchandise. The family needs everything.
