Last day before vacation. I am so excited to go shopping in San Fran. For those of you who dont know me, Im not a stuff guy and I hate shopping. I hate clutter and wasted gadgets. So I focus on what I need and get the best I can. But Ive worked crazy stupid hours for so many years since I jumped into the restaurant, and have never bought anything for myself beyond the occasional cookbook. That will change next week. Ill open the window of unthrift for 5 days and reward myself for the past 7 years. A knife is certainly in my future but well see what else. Ive had my hard hard hardcore foodies telling me where I should shop (3 different forums of knowledge) and will hit every last one of the shops!
