Last day of the NZ Jet boat marathon today ruamahanga river. Not ideal conditions with rain and very strong winds causing a few issues. We had a pretty good run posting the 3rd fastest time up and down overall and fastest in class. Its been a great week of racing. The boat has been very fast and Apart from missing a whole days racing due to mechanical issues, which put us out of contention, we have had a great run winning every leg (in our class) we have been in except one , and an overall leg win. It was unfortunate to be out of contention so early with mechanical issues, but we have had a great time and I would like to thank my navigator Duayne Insley for a great job and a big thanks to the crew Kevin Ryan and Kruse Davidson for all their help. Also a huge thanks to our sponsors, Teng Tools, NZ Lubricants (Elf oils), Regional Ford Gore, High Country Horses, Harrison Supplies, Ultra Scan and of course KeelowCraft Boats. Also congrats to Paul Cross and Andrew Graves taking out NZ3 in their KeelowCraft. Well done boys!
