Last fall, the Miss Capitol City/Miss Music City preliminary pageant to Miss Tennessee was held at Station Camp Elementary. I actually had the joy of acting as one of the judges in the pageant. Tonight, Shelby Thompson, Miss Capitol City won Miss Tennessee. She is lovely and will represent Tennessee with style in the Miss America Pageant...and I am proud to say, I was on the judging team that picked her first! Yay Shelby! And congratulations to Gary Briggs and his wonderful team who share in this victorious night!
