Last fire in the fire pit tonight on the deck in Maine. Tomorrow Bill golfs in a tournament at Indian Mound in Ossipee, NH, then closing the camp for the winter on Saturday morning. Then back to Nashua with fresh picked apples ...for pie, tarts and good eating! The neighbors are up for the weekend. They are outdoor people and will be up here all through the winter. They are good neighbors who keep an eye on our place for us, and let us know if anything is wrong or out of place. Also, our "unofficial Stanley Pond mayor" Larry and his daughter are up during the winter to go snowmobiling and they check on things for us, and everybody else, also. It is good to have such nice and helpful neighbors! We are grateful for such friends!
