Last night, Ei was taking an extra long time to brush his teeth. I mean, he usually takes a long time because he is ADHD and has to be reminded over and over that he is in the bathroom to brush his teeth and not to make faces at himself in the mirror or practice hopping from one foot to the other, but last night was one for the record books. Finally, he was done. It took so long because I was trying to get some lint out of my bellybutton, he said. Oh! I didnt know you had Lintbellians*, I said. I hate them, he told me, I kept trying to get the lint out, and then I realized that the corner of the toothpaste was what worked so thats what I was doing. He paused. I think my button is still a little red.
