Last night Husband and I were discussing why ignorance bothers me (triggers, anyone?), I figured it had something to do with my insecurity around my perceived intelligence or potential lack thereof. (My brother got the smarts in the family, I got the deviousness and super sappy squishy heart). Anyhow, I still stand by the fact that some pieces of misinformation can seriously harm people. Even true facts out of context can really mess with someones health. And when people I care about get hurt, thats what really bothers me. Sure, if youre ignorant about the fact that keeping up Christmas lights in July is kinda tacky, what do I care? Hell, light those bastards up! (except it could be bad for the environment haha) :)
