Last night I came home on hospice so I could experience a sense of peace and rest since the last place I want to be is in the hospital. I am so incredibly thankful that I did go to the hospital and got the relief that I needed, because the nearly 3 liters of fluid on my lungs made it hard to breathe, talk, eat or anything. My mother Betty, who was a nurse for many years, can do pretty much everything I need here at home and Im so much happier to be here. God granted both of us the blessed gift of (almost) a full nights sleep last night. Oh, the seemingly little things that we are thankful for. My dear family and friends, you have no idea how much each and every word, note, post of encouragement has meant to my family and me. My time has been extended another day, praise God for His mercy, I am beyond thankful. I am even hungry and enjoyed eating quiche and grapes with my cup of tea this morning. Please, no visitors (family or friends) unless you check with Adam or Amos first.
