Last night, I did stand up at UCB Chelsea in front of 100+ people. Its the biggest show Ive done in NYC and was awesome. Thanks Andy Rocco My set was alright. Im not mad or seeking sympathy, it was an illuminating experience, and mainly this is just a set-up for what Im about to tell you. I was standing outside with friends and saw a guy who was in the front row who was a very enthusiastic laugher. I was like hey man, saw you in the front row, Happy you liked some of the jokes. Is that not reasonably measured or what? I said some. He says, Yeah. Some of your jokes were really witty. Some were shitty. Dont tell the shitty ones. And then laughed to himself. So there you have it, guys: the secret to stand-up. Dont tell shitty jokes. Hope this information helps everyone out there who is still telling shitty jokes, you idiots. Just tell perfect jokes. Whats wrong with you? Same to anyone in any field really, dont do it shitty. Great, now the world is perfect.
