Last night I had an amazing celebration evening with my Great Niece Talia Hinckley. She made the Missouri State Honors Choir and got to sing in a concert in Jefferson City! Because It absolutely killed me that I was unable to attend the concert, (thanks to the wonderful idea from my sister Sara Brock Williams ) I promised Talia a night out to celebrate. Our evening started with dressing up, putting on make-up, curling our hair etc., then we watched a taping of her concert, and then we were off to a fancy dinner at Cafe Veronas. I was the one who really pushed her to try out for choir in 4th Grade because I thought she sang so pretty and now look how far she has gone!!! I am over the moon proud of this beautiful young lady!!!
