Last night I had the honor of attending the Everyday Hero awards ceremony in Bedford. There were a lot of deserving winners last night, and it was humbling to meet such selfless people right here in our district. I came, though, because I (and several others) nominated Ray Lindsey for the award. Earlier this year, Ray donated his kidney to save the life of his friend, Bob Evans. His story has been an inspiration to me our entire office, and I was glad to spend some time with him last night.
