Last night I had the privilege to join the Kiwanis Club of Everett for their Annual Pasta Dinner in support of scholarships and local charities. The Kiwanis serve children both locally and globally in a variety of ways. They support service leadership programs in schools through organizations such as the Key Club and Builders Club, promoting leadership training and community service for Everetts youth. I also had the opportunity to present the incoming president, Rocco Longo, with a citation commemorating his service and dedication to the Kiwanis Club of Everett. I would like to offer my most sincere congratulations and best wishes, and express hope for continued good fortune for the Kiwanis organization.
