Last night I taught the seventh session of my Global African - TopicsExpress

Last night I taught the seventh session of my Global African Presence online class. It was on the African presence in Australia and the Pacific. It went very well. After the class is over I add commentaries and photos until the next class. Here is something that I just added. I have been to Australia six times and my first trip was the most momentous. On this trip I asked Aboriginal sisters and brothers many times What was the original name for Australia and what was Australia called before the white man came? Nobody could answer the questions and I began to realize that in all likelihood ancient peoples did not name the continents that they lived on. And I began to think that if Aboriginal Australians did not name their continent why would the people of Africa be any different?
