Last night I was feeling really defeated. My blog went down yesterday so I gave it some time to fix itself before calling my hosts support.I got support on the phone at 11pm and was told that there was a major security breech and he would have to turn it over to security support and the wait time was 72 hours. As many of my friends know that is not something to take lightly. I went to bed defeated. This morning I woke up and decided that I needed to take control of the situation. I read for an hour, started thriving, and began checking out other options available to me. The price difference is drastic I was going to go from a shared server to a private server but it seemed like the best option because something about the situation being a massive security breech did not feel right to me. I need a host that will take care of the problem before it happens or at least before I can call them freaking out. I went out today - it was a preplanned and almost didnt go but I knew staying home and staying upset was not going to help. I got home called my hosting company to see if they would speed the process up if i told them fix it or I was leaving. I didnt even have to say anything. I spoke to an amazing Tech Support guy who fixed the issue in under 5 seconds. I kid you not. All of my sites were back up. Of course the one that matter the most was twolittlecavaliers but when they were all down I knew there was something on their end not mine. Moral of the story take charge of the situation. Figure out what you can do to make it better and put your plan into action. Thank you Josh K at Host Gator for your help tonight, Elise Lininger for her Platinum Group, Wendy Gendreau Krisena Curry Blair Critch and DAnthony Willis for your inspiring words this week, as well as Jennifer VanWitzenburg-Soltys for chatting this morning. Thank you!
