Last night I was in the company of Balikbayans who have decided to come home for good. They were all complaining about Zamboanga being dirty infact, one other balikbayan who originally was planning to settle back in our city decided to go back to the states as she lost interest after seeing the garbage situation here. It was embarrassing being a government official. Nevertheless, I cant deny that many here are undisciplined and dont observe cleanliness. It boils down to one thought. Do we have an anti-littering law? Yes, we do. So why are we not implementing it???! How I wished they were with me last night to listen to the passionate complaints of the homecoming Zamboanguenos. We really need to fully implement the Anti-Littering law! I am tired of giving excuses for a problem thats real. WE NEED TO FULLY IMPLEMENT THE ANTI LITTERING ORDINANCE THIS YEAR!!!
