Last night I went home a little heavy (not a fat girl heavy) but optimistic walked through the door and was greeted by 3 4-legged friends, then my beautiful Twins, my teenage daughter and my wife you see instinct told me not to take the Belt Parkway cause the reality is, is that I was not feeling well...a little dizzy from the meds and the Bronchitis but instead of listening to my protectors I went my way. An ass I was, but I made it because of God, the Saints and the Ancestors. When I made it home the one song that resonated in my head was RiverOcean/Yemaya and Ochun. Which mad me realize that in that Car was my Mom, Florine Violet Felix, Our Spiritual Mothers Yemaya and Ochun...they sat in that car took my hand when needed, woke me up and brought me home to my beautiful family. Grateful for all today, honoring God, the Santos and the Ancestors. Blessings folks.
