Last night I went to just drop off something to Shorty and ended up staying awhile and just talking to her and her granddaughter Ashley. We did some laughing and sharing memories of Don. There will be lots of tears shed today and loads of memories to share with family and friends, but I can not be sad as I know Don is whole again in Heaven and walking with our Lord. What a glorious place to be. He is free of pain and whole again. I know he will be watching from Heaven today and standing by Shortys side. And in his sense of humor, probably asking God when the rain is going to stop. So please keep Shorty and the boys and all the family in your prayers today as they say good-bye to this this special man, here on earth. I know they will see him again in Heaven someday. So as we shed tears, it will be of sorrow and joy for this man that I was so honored to call my Friend. I pray that all the memories will help ease the pain and know he will always have a place tucked in our hearts. Love You Friend and FLY HIGH WITH JESUS.
