Last night Lucy was unable to cough out the liquid secretions that accumulate in her throat and was unable to breath. They resuscitated her two times but she then had aspirated pneumonia. Since she couldnt tolerate the medicines she was on and the new one was an autoimmune suppressant, her prognosis to control the disorder was very poor. They tell me she was very panicky when she couldnt breathe and ask me if they should resuscitate her when it happens again. I told them I was on my way and Id like to be there with her at the end. I was able to hold her for an hour and tell her how much we all love her. I told her about the Rainbow Bridge and that Id look for her when I got there. I told her it was okay to go. RIP my sweet Lucy. 2009-2014
