Last night at our membership meeting Delegate Bell presented House resolution No. 8 commending the Staunton-Augusta County First Aid & Rescue Squad Inc for celebrating 75 years of serving the community. The Resolution addressed that throughout the squads long history of being in operation since 1938, The Staunton-Augusta County First Aid and Rescue Squad, Inc has remained focused on its mission of providing the best prehospital emergency care to the Citizens of Staunton and Augusta County. Delegate Bell also presented Mrs. Dean Sutton House Resolution No. 50. The Resolution is Celebrating the Life of Dean Ernest Sutton, Sr. Dean Sutton, a longtime advocate for the Staunton-Augusta County community retired from the Augusta County Service Authority in 2002. He was a life member of The Staunton-Augusta County First Aid and Rescue Squad, with 38 years of active service. Dean Sutton will be forever remembered and greatly missed by his family members and his Staunton-Augusta Rescue Squad Volunteer family.
