Last night at the Nitro National pro hillclimb race in Columbus Montana, during the main event on his 990 Super Duke, Nick Pinto crashed and was taken by ambulance to the hospital. His bike flipped over on top of him and he was pinned underneath. At first it was thought that he had a compound fracture of the arm and a deep laceration but thankfully the xrays showed no fracture, however he did slice part of a muscle in his arm that will require a visit to the orthopedic surgeon. They stitched him up and he is resting. All in all the news is much better than what it first looked like. What a race for me to have to miss.
