Last night, hundreds of friends of Palestine gathered to observe the United Nations International Year of Solidarity with the Palestinian People at the Ottawa National Arts Centre. H.E. Said Hamad, Chief Representative of the Palestinian General Delegation in Canada, and Mme. Claudette Hamad, had the pleasure of hosting the El-Funoun Dance Troupe فرقة الفنون الشعبية الفلسطينية to mark the occasion. The proceeds from El-Funouns Canadian tour will be donated to Al-Makassed Hospital, Jerusalem.
