Last night my beagle, Pudge, got stuck under my back porch. He must sniffed his way under and crawled so far under I couldnt even see him. Rrom about midnight to 2 am I shoveled, raked, and poked while lying on the ground on my belly--thank God it was mild night--all to no avail. Called every resource I could think of, 911, fire dept, animal rescue, vet...no help available. Knew I was facing a sleepless night I went to bed, but around 4 am I heard a bark, got up, and there he was on the deck! So relieved and so thankful!
