Last night my heart stopped when I got a call from my sister Rachel telling me that her roof caved in trapping her & my nephews in the bedroom & Ian in the kitchen! They made it out safely, but I can only imagine the terror they felt and the emotions they are now dealing with after such a traumatic event! Thankfully my nephews were sleeping so they wont be haunted by this as severely as my sister. They left barefoot and with the clothes on their back(nephews only in diapers) to stay at a hotel. These pictures are after the firemen removed the big chunks of ceiling. The fire dept. said it was due to a leak in the roof & they warned the neighbors their roof may cave in. The landlord wants to move them into a first floor apt, but this does not sound like a safe complex! Please help me with ideas on how to help!!! They need a safe home in or near Medical Lake! Ian starts back to school at EWU tomorrow & the boys start basketball practice. Any help is very much appreciated!!!!
