Last night started off with a great Zombie Hunt at Woodstock High. - TopicsExpress

Last night started off with a great Zombie Hunt at Woodstock High. It was partnered with an exceptional young man who is a pastor in one of our local churches. I found out he is married to a lovely young lady that I had had the privilege of teaching. Our conversation ranged from home schooling to the issue of sudden deaths and the influence of social media on the funeral directors. We both agreed that there is no stopping social media in these cases and that all the funeral directors can do is contact the closest relatives as soon as they can. This conversation changed to funny comments about the zombies and the tactics the students used to avoid them. The evening was proceeding well until I ran into our VP. Niki. I asked her if there was a problem because she looked stressed. Then my heart stopped. Niki asked me to go with her to our guidance office and there she told me about the tragic accident. One of our precious grade twelve students lost his life in a car accident. Again our community and wonderful school must deal with a tragedy that is beyond understanding. What a tragic example of real life irony. RIP
