Last night the actions of one of our CCTV Operators prevented a potential robbery when he identified a small group following an individual and alerted the Police. He continued to track them until the Police arrived at the location and arrests were made. This is another example of the strong partnership working between the Council’s CCTV control room and Police to keep the streets of Barking and Dagenham safe.
