Last night was cardio (bike) and legs. For now, every trip to the gym will include a start with cardio. Its helps to burn the fat, and with the more immediate goal of dropping pounds - that is important. Hit legs last night after the cardio on the bike. Nothing too fancy - just lifts, presses, and this hip abductor machine that looks more like a torture device than a workout. LOL I hit 480 lbs on the seated leg press last night. That might sound like a lot, but it was only 150 additional pounds than my body. But, I am almost halfway to the 1000 lbs club! (Always a bright side!) I did hit a little bit on my upper body last night - just to give the muscles a little stretch. They were a little sore, but feel great this morning after that little bit last night. Not significant, but I was down a half of a pound since Tuesday. Thinking in the long term though, that could be 10-15 lbs per month. No significant carbs since Sunday. Feeling good, blood sugar is much better than it used to be. Not all the way there yet, but making positive strides. Planning for holiday eating. Sticking with proteins is the plan, along with salads for greens. I just got started - no time to fall off the wagon now! (BTW, my goal is not to make sure all my friends and family read this. But, if I feel an obligation to post - that will translate into the obligation to hit the gym. There is a method to my madness.)
