Last night we had dinner at The Keg with some great friends! We never go as its quite pricey, but we thought wed splurge. We had Mushrooms Neptune to start, along with garlic butter prawns and loads of sourdough bread. The server brought out the escargot butter for us to dip our bread in. HEAVEN. I then had a Wedge salad (Yes Kym OMalley, a WEDGE SALAD AGAIN), then Lobster Manhattan. Its a New York steak covered with lobster and some kind of dreamy butter sauce. Garlic mashed potatoes and asparagus on the side. We had some issues with our meals - 3 out of 6 meals were freezing. So we had 20% off the entire bill AND 2 free desserts. AMAZING service. Oh, and 3 bottles of red. ;)
