Last night we posted a status about Bangladeshi immigrants wreaking havoc in Silchar Assam. Unreliable sources stated that a Shiva temple was gutted and Beef was placed in a Hanuman temple thereby infuriating the Hindus. The sources said that there was a major riot last night and Army had to deployed. We had to take the status down because the sources were unverified and unreliable. Now the news is there in the media, although it is being majorly downplayed. It is now sure that beef pieces were placed in three different temples of Rongpur area in Silchar, Assam. The news doesn’t mention if Bangladeshi immigrants were involved or not. I hope they were involved considering the history of communal riots in Assam.
