Last night we watched the new Cosmos with the kids. It filled my heart with joy and hope to see how enthralled they were with it. We all had a great conversation about it afterward. The fact that they were so happy that it was only the introduction made me one proud poppa! I remember watching the original miniseries when I was around their age. It had a profound effect on me and helped shape who I am today. I dug out my copy of the book to show Lily when she gets home today. I will admit I got a little teary eyed when Tyson mentioned his own Sagan experience.
