Last night, what began as a peaceful protest between the citizens of Hong Kong, turned into an outbreak of violence with arrest being made. Hong Kong citizens are at political unrest due to what they feel is impending oppression coming from Mainland China. They have been occupying various locations across Hong Kong in protest, tonight, things went awry between citizens and police in Yau Ma Tei, on the Kowloon side of Hong Kong, as protesters started yelling at, and becoming defiant to police, who later had to call for backup, arriving in droves with full on use-of-force gear and police vehicles to barricade the crowds from spreading. Alot of shoving, cursing, and threats filled the air and I was there to capture it all. Check out my report, here.
