Last post of the day before the airport. Ill be speaking to my Dad for the first time in over a year when I get home. Hopefully itll be cordial and friendly. Im doing my thing and hes doing his. Hell probably try and convince me to stay, that its the more lucrative and safe option (hes a pretty money driven guy), and last time I left that option was tempting, but it isnt any more. You cant price happiness, and Id rather take happiness for the time being. He is an older man and has to care about finances much more than I do and doesnt think much about happiness at least. Now I feel confident in pursuing what I want out of life, a rare opportunity in the first place, as opposed to just settling for the tried and tested thing.
