Last thought for the day... You know there are kids in Foster homes and orphanages that long for a mommy? Today is a day we celebrate the blessing of motherhood but kids all over the world have no one to kiss boo boos and run their bubble baths. Seriously. Thats not just one of those sappy things people say. Its reality. I hate when people make excuses. Its hard to adopt. Its hard for kids to adjust and there are a lot of problems with adopted kids. Ive heard people say these things. You know whats hard? Its hard to fall asleep at night without a mommy or daddy. If you arent called to adopt please find a way to love these kids. Advocate for them, pray for them, provide and support families who are willing to be mommy and daddy to them. And please, please sincerely pray for OUR family. God has placed a true desire on our hearts for adoption. I dont know what that will look like for us, but we want that baby like we wanted Holden and Ezra... and waiting is hard - for many selfish reasons, but also because I want to know my future son or daughter is home, safe, and loved forever. So if you could pray for our baby tonight it would mean a lot to us.
