Last week I finished my first project for Experimental Film class. Im very excited to say that it was chosen to be screened in front of Roger Birnbaum, previous co-CEO and co-Chairman of MGM, current owner of Spyglass Entertainment, and University of Denver alumnus. For this specific project, the class was asked to pick a grammatical term out of a hat (words such as if, and, among, etc.). The word I chose was or. I then had to create a film that illustrated the function of this term. Also, no pre-recorded audio was allowed. Everything had to be captured via mic. Ive entitled it The Call of the Void, inspired by the french phrase L’appel du vide which is more significantly used to describe the urge to jump from high places.
