Last week, I turned down a SWEET job offer...One that I wanted years ago and the door finally opened....went through the entire process and got to the very end....and God said, No! Now....years ago, had that happened, I wouldve gone wild and probably questioned God terribly, but last week....I was at peace with the No! from God because I know He knows whats best for me. This week, another (very similar, but better) offer was made---without me even looking for it...it came looking for me......so without being super anxious, my first step was not to apply for the job...but to pray about the job and hear back from God before I begin another process...... Im VERY happy where I am....but I know that to everything theres a time and a season, so I sit still and await to hear from the Lord! The reason for me sharing this is because sometimes we become so excited about NEW things to where we skip over the permission process with God and jump right in on the proposal thinking that every good opportunity is a GOD opportunity, and thats not always the case! So, keep Phil. 4:6 in mind when opportunities come....and make sure that its not only good, but its God....and its His plan for YOUR life.
