Last week I was riding at New Forest Water Park and was lucky enough to finally get my hands on the Kim Pro Flex 138 Rope wakeboard to demo during the week. When I first went out on it I wasn’t quite sure what I was expecting, as I had already ridden the Kim Pro 140 Rope wakeboard on cable which is predominately a boat board but was great on cable with its grind base, but for me lacked flex which I had come a custom to on the cable. I was hoping this board was going to be as great, or even better with the added flex. When I went out on the Kim pro flex instantly it felt great, this board had loads of pop and this board felt great on the sliders and kickers. It had just enough flex to really put some style out on the sliders flexing well on the tip and tail, but with enough stiffness in the board to really load the line up for all those massive air tricks. The speed you got on the sliders was amazing the grind base was nice and slippery, this certainly felt like the fasted best grind base I had ridden. This board performed great on the kickers and gave nice soft landings on your knees. A lot of riders have been demoing this board over the last week and the general consensus was it was an amazing board and everyone was absolutely loving it on the rails and kickers and especially for those air tricks.
