Last week, I was telling about my neighbors. Last week, it was about Jerry and Linda Ivy. This week, my neighbor on the other side, The most amazing lady you will ever meet. Irene Dawson. Ten years ago when I moved in, she was 87 years young. In Irene younger years. She had a battle with cancer and lost a arm to it. This did not slow her down. She had flower beds every where and kept them clean. I would try to help her but she could out work me. It had to be something she really couldnt do to ask for help. Also a great cook..I should be mad at my neighbors because I gained 20 pounds after moving up here. Irene and her friends, all in their eighty would load up and go out of town to eat. They checked on each other and if Irene didnt answer. Catherine would call and have me to check on her. Most of the time she would be sitting on the ground under a tree working in a flower bed. I could write all day about Irene , but you get the picture. She is one great lady and had another birthday this year making her 97 years young. She loves her church, family and friends and we all love her. Hey another family in a week or two. Like I said. Money cant buy what my neighbors are to me.
