Last week, Melissa toured the brand new Cockburn Integrated Health and Community Facility at Cockburn Central with the centre’s CEO, Clory Carrello. Stunning artworks by Kidogo Arthouse Fremantle (pictured) frame the two main entrances to this beautifully designed building which will be a fantastic hub for our burgeoning community. A brand new library, Centrelink office, GP Super clinic, myriad other health services, family and financial counsellors, Curtin University, and even a café are amongst the founding tenants. The library’s books have arrived and are ready for shelving, while Centrelink and SKG Radiology are already open for business. Kudos to the City of Cockburn for partnering with the previous Federal Labor Government to make this one of the biggest and best services of its kind Australia-wide.
