Last week my poor old Toyota Corolla was in a little crasho down in Cambridge, Mass.-- A little scrape on the right rear panel.-- I was afraid the body might fall off because there is some rust but it stayed intact.-- The faithful old car is in the car hospital now waiting to be fixed and I am driving a 2014 spiffy new car rental that has a dashboard that looks like a jet plane pilots control panel with all the lights and knobs and switches.-- I am not shunned at parking spots now with the new rental car.-- With my old 2000 Corolla people would park one spot over because they were afraid of the rust spores jumping from my 14 year old Toyota to their new late model SUVs.-- I have a complex about that but I am coping.-- Life goes on.
