Last week there was a kid almost abducted by Sugar Land Middle School. I thought that I read somewhere that Fort Bend ISD Police along with SLPD were going to beef up patrol in the neighborhood. I take my kid to school everday and the only place they have beefed up patrol is in front of the school. I even seen one parked in the middle of Jess Pirtle on Monday. Also on Monday I seen two parents pulled over by officers in front of Sugar Land Middle School. We dont need patrol in front of the school, we need it in the neighborhood. Many kids walk to school down the bayou, no police presents anywhere. People speed through the neighborhood in the mornings, not in front of the school. Since they are so head strong on stepping up to challenges, like writing tickets for blocking sidewalks, I challenge them to protect our kids on the way to school. The slogan is To Protect and To Serve more like TO NEGLECT AND TO DISTURB! Sorry for the rant, Im just wondering am I the only one who sees this?
