Last weekend (luckily, the day after my big community screening - TopicsExpress

Last weekend (luckily, the day after my big community screening event), the Cancer Center at St. Josephs Hospital experienced a flood that wasnt caught until it had done considerable damage. This week was quite a week of regrouping so we would still be able to see patients, albeit in limited quarters. Below is the email I received from my supervisor this morning. With all that she had going on this week, thanking me and the rest of the staff was still a priority. Amazing! Renee, I cannot thank you enough for all you did this week to make our oncology patients feel cared for, comforted, and secure when the flood left the Cancer Center in such a mess! You braved the cold, the wind, and mass confusion and never once complained about getting behind on your own job responsibilities! You are a tireless patient advocate and a tremendous asset to our program, our patients, our staff, and to me. It brings great comfort to know that you can be counted on to support whatever trial comes our way! I appreciate you so very much!! Rebecca
