Last weekends Fall Great Plains Renaissance Festival was epic! Many thanks to all the folks who came out and made the event a huge success and so much fun! My personal thanks to all the folks who stopped by the Whovians of Wichita tent and said hi- it was great seeing so many new faces, talking Doctor Who and making new friends, you rock! It was also lovely to see so many familiar faces once again, among them, the lovely Mother Nature aka the Tree Lady, the great wizard, professor Gel E. Bean (you have gone through alot lately sir, it was great seeing you make it out and about, we love you), Peter Pixie MC (my thanks for promoting us and hanging out and talking for awhile) and the Wind-Up Toy Man. A big shout out to Little Beard who not only provided us the opportunity to come and hang out at the Festival, but let us borrow his big blue box once again. Your support and your friendship means alot to me, many thanks to you my friend. My thanks to the staff and the many people who worked behind the scenes at the Great Plains Renaissance Festival- the staff, volunteers, performers and vendors, you all deserve a round of applause and you have my heartfelt thanks. And finally to those folks who put up with me the most- my friends and comrades in arms from the Whovians of Wichita. My thanks to Cayde Brown, my fellow admin and friend for busting it out and taking care of getting our site together and for his unending affability, you rock good sir. Allen, thanks for helping us out with setup and moral support as always! :) Boogie, thank you for helping out and lending us your support, and for your patience while I tried to come get you- you certainly made this Festival a memorable one for a lot of the folks out there! Autumn, thank you for lending us your horns and your smile- you are always a pleasure to have around- just remember , HY-DRATE!! HY-DRATE!! ;) James Marlow, bro you not only know how to wire just about anything up, you know how to bring people together- thank you for hanging out with us and lending us a hand throughout the weekend, it is much appreciated. To Frank, my sincerest thanks for all the support and help your provided to the Whovians all weekend long- your friendship and your humour made time fly, and kept a number of us alive and breathing. Alicia Nielsen, you are a trooper, and keep going even when youre not feeling so hot. You were a pleasure to hang with all weekend long and you are not only a twisted, but funny individual to play CAH with, but you are a wonderful friend. Lisa, Im glad you came out and graced us with your presence, it wouldnt be a party without Dr. B, would it? I love you, I know your grandfather meant a lot to you but everything will work out, just given a chance. Angie, Im sorry you missed Cecil by a few minutes, but I am happy I got to see your smiling face. Blythe, the only thing missing from my weekend at the Festival was you, we all missed you. I know how desperately you wanted to be there, and I know things are rough, but hang in there, we are here for you! To all the rest of our members and fans out there who came by and supported us over the weekend, we love you all. We know some of you made long drives and just to come out to be here this last weekend, that you spent any of it with us or moi, I am truly honoured and I thank you. Much love to you all.
