Last weekends itinerary was home -> Pigeon Point Lighthouse -> Santa Cruz -> Salinas -> Carmel -> Salinas -> Monterey -> Santa Cruz -> Hollister -> home. There was a method to that madness, I promise, though it would be a bit hard to explain. Sleeping 11 people in a small two-bedroom house is way less annoying and far more fun than I had anticipated. I was standing in front of the Monterey Bay Aquarium on Saturday afternoon and I heard, Patti? I then completely failed to recognize Eric Zuckerman. I plead too much sun, not enough sleep, partial face blindness, and the fact that he was wearing dark sunglasses and a bike helmet. Plus, I just suck at recognizing people out of context if I dont know them well. Still, its a small world. I still dont understand the appeal of walking on sand.
