Last year, AJ Jefferson was arrested for domestic assault. Not tried yet, just accused. His employer immediately fired him, with no concern for due process. Which was fine, because due process is a legal term that applies to the justice system, not an employment term. No employer is forced to retain someone just to wait for due process to play out. So this employer canned Mr. Jefferson. The employer? The Minnesota Vikings. What changed in a year? Well, Jefferson was the backup safety, not the best RB in the league. Hmm. Once again, the NFL doesnt get it. The hypocrisy is ridiculous. Peterson gets to play Sunday, as will Greg Hardy and Ray McDonald, probably. Im done, NFL. You have no soul. Get rid of Goodell and perhaps I will come back. In the meantime, baseball and hockey can get me through the calendar year just fine.
