Last year Bonita police shot and killed Leon Rosbys dog because the man was playing his music too loud, but in fact because they knew this guy by sight who had lodged complaints about racial profiling by the police. Local cops had previously broken one of his ribs very near where they would now get revenge for his lawsuit. The cops beat the man to the ground and handcuffed him for loud music. Thats when his dog jumped between the police and their intended victim to protect his master (but gave no indication he was going to bite) one of the cops just shot Max four times. Even the Lt. Scott Swain admitted (accidentally no doubt) that the dog was more than likely not going to attack. Doesnt matter. Cops get to do this, even if only for sport. Rosby, weeping, said, All he did was love me. There was no just cause for handcuffing him in the first place. Cops started something and escalated it. A witness even caught it on camera phone.
