Last year Intwasa Arts Festival koBulawayo in association with Hunnar Management hosted the Intwasa Fashion Show. Three designers were then selected by Edgars Store for an internship. The three designers started their intership yesterday. Here is what they said on their first day: Nkululeko Ncube: I expected it to be challenging, and as much a most of of it is new, i believe I will learn a lot from this experience. Zanele Dube: The working environment is friendly. I was tasked to do s few sketches and was advised on doing more commercial works. There is need to work extremely hard, all is supper. Sidumiso Tshuma: Personally, I am very challenged, i got to realise that there is more to designing than I always imagined. This is a very huge learning curve for me. I am getting to know what really a designer is and how it feels, what is required of me and I really had a great time on the first day. Wishing all three designers a wonderful time. Hoping Intwasa and Hunnar will make Intwasa Fashion Show 2015 bigger and better. Create more opportunities for local designers.
