Last year The Ranger and the students and faculty of the Alamo Colleges changed the course of history, literally, when we refused to let up about textbook and curriculum changes. Slowly but surely Im seeing similar things happening this semester. My community college district has decided to remove concentrations from printed degrees and transcripts for arts and science students. Some people are pretty unhappy about it. Read and share, let people know whats going on, and dont be afraid to let district officials know what you think about it. Im really proud of the work my staff and I do, and students who are loud and faculty who are looking out for all of us.
