Last year i invited Pinch and Rob Smith from Bristol to come with me to Lagos, Nigeria. We made tunes with local artists, threw an impromptu street party in the slums, picked up some pigeon english and even got physically chucked out of some posh mafia club for not playing Gangnam style or some othe commercial pop shite : it was great! the tunes are coming out on a compilation on the UK label Soundway Records Release party is this friday in Berlin with 30 different artists from 10 cities in 2 continents : one love. big ups to Goethe-Institut Nairobi x ten-cities.
