Last year my Dad made me pick which holiday I would come home for, because he wasnt paying for two tickets.... :-). So I chose Thanksgiving instead of Christmas since both sides of my family get together on this holiday. Thanksgiving was the last time I saw my dad up, walking and talking. :-(. Never would have imagine that the next time I would see him, he would be in a hospital bed on a machine, unresponsive. So, Im Thankful for Thanksgiving! Im thankful for a holiday where families get together and show their love for one another, and they show it in a way that if its your last time ever seeing them you are pleased with what you left them with. I love and miss you dad! So much and I wish I could kiss you on your head, at the top where it is balding, just one last time. Happy thanksgiving everyone!
